Questions
Do I need a credit card?
Not for Free. Pro is paid by card on Stripe's checkout page — we never see your card number, and you can cancel from your account page at any time.
How do I cancel?
From your account page: Manage billing opens the Stripe portal, where you can cancel, change your card or see your invoices. You keep Pro until the end of the period you have paid for, and nothing renews after that.
What actually differs between the plans?
Five things. Free saves 75 new words a month and Pro is unlimited; Free gets standard translations and Pro gets improved ones, noticeably better on phrases and idioms; Pro uses the sentence a word appeared in to pick the right translation and the right meaning; Pro gets exercises built from generated example sentences; and Pro gets two streak freezes a week. Everything else is on both plans.
What happens when I reach the free word limit?
Saving new words pauses until the first of the month, in your own timezone. Nothing you have already saved is affected — you can keep reviewing, testing and organising your whole vocabulary, and re-saving a word you already have never counts against the limit.
What happens to my vocabulary if I cancel?
It stays exactly where it is. Your saved words, review history and topics belong to your account, not to a plan — you go back to Free translations, and to the monthly limit on NEW words. Nothing already saved is removed or locked.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. You can delete individual words at any time, and deleting your account from the account page removes your account and vocabulary data. See the privacy policy for the detail.
